CLEAN -UP ASSIGNMENTS
¨
It's easiest to clean if everyone packs their personal belongings and loads
the cars first.
¨
The dishwasher should be started early so it may be unloaded before scrubbing
the floor.
DOWNSTAIRS
____________________Remove
all food from refrig. Do not leave
food for the next group.
Wipe refrig inside and out.
____________________Clean
stove top (burners pull out to cleans
pans underneath.)
Clean all counter tops, microwave, toaster,
and coffee pot.
____________________Unload
dishwasher before cleaning floors.
____________________Wipe
dining room chairs with a damp cloth. Put
upside down on
table until floor is scrubbed.
____________________ Sweep kitchen, dining room, hallways, bathroom,
utility room
____________________ Scrub
(warm water only) kitchen, dining room, hallways, bathroom,
utility room floors.
____________________ Scrub
bathroom sink, tub, and toilet with Bon Ami (cleaning supplies
are under the sink)
_____________________ Wood stove – stop feeding wood 3-4 hours before
leaving. Please,
DO NOT EMPTY HOT ASHES. Close both stove doors and air-
intakes (knobs on
front) and be sure no paper or fuel is near the
stove. Fire will
burn itself out. Sweep stove and hearth.
______________________Vacuum all rugs, moving furniture as necessary.
______________________Dust furniture and window sills in all rooms,
using paper towel and
Endust (in the utility room)
______________________Sweep porch floor and shake rugs. Stack chairs
______________________Vacuum all rugs (vacuum in large dorm closet,
extra bags and belts
are in the utility room downstairs)
______________________Scrub tub, toilet, and both sinks in the large
dorm. (Cleaning supplies
are under the sink.) Brush mat, sweep and scrub floor.

(Cleaning supplies are under sink) Brush mat, sweep and
scrub floor.
_______________________Police
outside grounds for trash. Coil hose. Woodpile covered with
plastic and weighted down to keep wood dry.
Be sure ALL TRASH
BAGS ARE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISIS. THERE IS NO
TRASH PICK-UP.
